ILOILO CITY: Panay Electric Company (PECO) has assured there will be a steady supply of power in the city by the time the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings start on September 21, 2015. Engr. Randy Pastolero, PECO vice president for operations, issued the statement amid a series of power interruptions last week. He added that the power outages might trigger a temporary increase in the power rate by 25 centavos until the rehabilitation of the 132 MW coal power plant is completed. Power supply will not be affected, Pastolero assured consumers.
