ILOILO CITY: Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog has ordered the temporary closure of shopping stores at the newly opened Ayala Atria in Brgy. San Rafael, Mandurriao district after a canopy collapsed on Sunday at the height of heavy rains spawned by Typhoon Egay.
Mabilog said he ordered the City Engineer’s Office to inspect and to conduct an investigation on what caused the collapse in coordination with the Ayala management.
