A few weeks before the anticipated visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said they will provide special lanes for the entourage of the pope at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
A source from the Immigration bureau on Thursday said they were asked to watch out for the papal entourage, provide the necessary courtesy and facilitate their entry into the country.
The source added that the delegation is composed of 80 people who are mostly priests and members of the Vatican press.
All members of the Pope’s entourage will have to undergo “usual” immigration procedures.
For security reasons the Imigration source refused to disclose further details of Pope Francis’ arrival in the country.
