Imus cites inclusive growth on 5th cityhood year

IMUS CITY, Cavite: Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi led the celebration of the 5th year cityhood anniversary on Friday, rolling out accomplishments he called progress through inclusive growth. He cited the priority programs on education, health, with a public hospital to open in December this year and new health centers in several barangay (villages); and infrastructures that include 75 new covered courts, an oval field, roads repair and rehabilitation, opening of a new canal connecting Cavitex and Barangay Malagasang this month, the planned flyover at the intersection of Daang Hari-Aguinaldo Highway and an open canal by 2018. Maliksi likewise credited Rep. Alex Advincula for his effort to secure funding for 532 classrooms and additional 377 classrooms.
