Religious group Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) on Friday released an advisory warning motorists and commuters to expect heavy traffic along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) due to their worldwide propagation event on Sunday, May 22. The said evangelical mission will start at 8 a.m. at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Delegates from nearby congregations will converge on Ciudad de Victoria and will listen to the lecture onsite, to be led by their Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo.
Those who will not be able to attend at the Arena will join the event via video conferencing in any of the 2,900 sites worldwide.
The INC has sent their early apology, and is hoping for the public’s consideration and understanding regarding the matter.
Just last Tuesday, the INC’s outreach mission caused traffic congestion along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
INC spokesperson Edwil Zabala apologized for the traffic jam they caused due to the whole-day event.
