MAXIMA Machineries, a distributor of heavy machineries from Japan, recently conducted an expo and a tender auction for around 60 heavy-equipment vehicles at a venue in Libis, Quezon City, where bidders were able to inspect used units that have been checked for quality and which even carry one-year warranties.
Equipment offered up for auction ranged from bulldozers, dump trucks, motor graders, excavators, wheel loaders, compactors, backhoe loaders, generator sets, forklifts and breakers from brands Komatsu, Bomag and Indeco. Besides the grand tender auction, Maxima Machineries also announced the launch of its Premium Certified Used Equipment program for Komatsu, which the company exclusively distributes.
Maxima officials said the Komatsu PC200 models have undergone rigorous inspection in Japan.
During the event, Maxima also launched Komatsu models like the PC70-8 hydraulic excavator, D65EX-16 bulldozer, WA380Z-6 wheeled loader and ME Bucket—four new products in the country. The Komatsu products are now equipped with KomTrax, a remote equipment and fleet monitoring system that provides critical information about the equipment and its operation. The system uses GPS to tell owners where their machine is at all times, and provides them with a working record of operational information that helps to improve the performance and productivity of their investment.
Maxima Machineries is a subsidiary of Marubeni Corp. of Japan.
