Rafe New York’s star-studded launch

Fashionable ladies and dashing gentlemen came dressed to the nines as Rafe Totengco launched the Resort 2013 Collection of his namesake handbags brand at Rustan’s Makati over the holidays.

Champagne, cocktails and celebrities were aplenty at the intimate affair. Introducing the extraordinary designer to the guests was Katrina Tan-toco-Lobregat. Spotted amongst the attendees were Rafe’s muses and good friends, Joey Mead-King, Myrza Sison, Liz Uy and Teresa Herrera, who each had a Rafé New York handbag under their name.

Also present at the stylish shindig was Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo— who also had a Minaudiere named after her—and husband, Antonio Lagdameo Jr., Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, Raymond Gutierrez, Rajo Laurel, and Laureen Uy. Representing Rustan’s was Maritess Tantoco-Enriquez and Michael T. Huang.

Attendees of the event loved the bags in Rafé’s Resort 2013 Collection. It featured bold prints, bright colors and metallic shades worked into modern silhouettes that will simply be the perfect finish to any outfit.

Throughout the night the designer himself attended to the guests and customers who wanted to purchase the bags—providing them with more information about his pieces.

Rafé New York is exclusively available at Rustan’s Makati and Shangri-la Plaza.
