Fresh from her victory at the recent People’s Choice Award, pop superstar Katy Perry returns to Manila for a one night concert as part of her California Dreams Tour.
The concert will be held at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City at 8 p.m. on January 22.
Katy brings her acclaimed show that broke records as one of the top 50 tours in the world, winning an MTV EMA award for Best Live Act.
The California Dreams Tour kicked off in 2011 with a total of 122 shows in Europe, Australia, Japan, South America and North America and wraps up her 2012 leg in the Philippines.
This time, she’s performing with a Special Achievement Award from the AMAs (American Music Awards) for her chart-topping five no. 1 singles from “Teenage Dream,” tied with none other than the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.
The “Firework” singer promises the show to be a spectacle and fans can expect a visual and aural feast.
Perry is behind the hits “I Kissed A Girl,” “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “ET,” “Firework” and “Last Friday Night.”
