GMA Network is set to premiere a novel morning program for mothers on November 12 that is out to help them solve the endless emergencies of the home.

Cleverly titled Nay 1-1, the 30-minute program will put celebrity moms Gladys Reyes and Jaya on a hodgepodge of missions to keep wives and mothers from losing their sanity by rescuing them from leaking roofs to clogged toilets.

“From the very first episode, the show has taken us to barangays na dinadaan-daanan lang natin at hindi napapansin, pero napakaraming mga nanay doon ang nangangailangan ng tulong,” shared Jaya on Wednesday night at the show’s official launch. “Ang nakakabilib sa kanila, kahit na pa sampung taon na pala tumutulo yung bubong nila, nakagawa sila ng paraan na gumawa ng temporary na alulod, at nakangiti pa rin sila.”

Gladys, who has just crossed over to GMA-7 from another network, agreed, “I feel so lucky na ang first project ko dito ay makakatulong sa mga nanay, and I’m very happy to also share my knowledge and tips bilang isang nanay sa kanila. Alam niyo naman na hands on talaga ako sa pagiging mommy. Two years old na yung bunso ko ngayon pero nag-bre-breast feed pa din ako.”

The pair of Nay 1-1 “agents” were also excited to share that their program is very “high tech” in the way that they receive emergency calls.

“We have what we call an ‘Emergency Mommy Tracker,’ which shows exactly where the emergency is on an iPad,” enthused Jaya. “The moms can text us through the number 4627 and via email through our Facebook page and Twitter.”

Nay 1-1 begins airing on Monday right after Unang Hirit on GMA Network.
