AFTER bagging the first semifinals berth, the San Sebastian College Stags aim for their 13th straight victory when they battle the College of Saint Benilde Blazers today in 87th National Collegiate Athletic Association seniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
The Stags face the Blazers at 4 p.m. following Letran and Lyceum’s encounter at 2 p.m.
The rest of the nine teams are now keen on preventing a clean sweep by the Stags.
The Stags latest victims were the Jose Rizal Heavy Bombers whom they routed 78-59, on Wednesday courtesy of Ronald Pascual, who tallied a season career high of 33 points. “We always have to challenge ourselves. We can’t be satisfied,” said Stags’ rookie coach Topex Robinson.
