The arrest of a foreign disc jockey belonging to a Korean drug mafia prompted the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency to take a close watch over the ZZYZX Club in Remedios, Malate, Manila, following reports that continues drug and flesh trade prevail at the night club.
The joint is owned by Cho Ji Hyung alias Mr. Pooh, an alleged member of a Korean drug mafia who also owned the Amore KTV club along the stretch of Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City.
Drug-enforcement agents confirmed that ‘party pills’ such as ketamine, shabu and ecstasy can be bought inside those two night clubs after several test buys were conducted.
Flesh trade also flourishes at the said places with female employees and customers offering flesh services to foreign clientele specially Koreans.
An unconfirmed report revealed that one female customer was raped in the establishment.
Earlier the Philippine National Police’s Anti Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Force (Aidsoft) caught American DJ Brian Hill who is a known supplier of illegal drugs at the two said nightclubs.
Hill was caught with over P50 million worth of shabu, when authorities raided his apartment in Manila.
