CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna: Police arrested one of Laguna City’s most wanted person accused to have raped her own daughter.
Senior Supt. Fausto Manzanilla, provincial director of Laguna, identified him as Jesus Nariz Ramos who was collared at his hideout in Sitio Luacan, Brgy. Paraiso, Milagros, Masbate province where he has gone hiding for over a year.
Manzanilla said that Ramos was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Presiding Judge Cynthia Ricablanca, Regional Trial Court Branch 27, Sta. Cruz.
Ramos was presented to Gov. Jeorge Estregan of Laguna in a media press conference.
Manzanilla told Estregan that a total of 2,486 suspects have been arrested and still counting, for most wanted persons of various crimes, illegal drug personalities and illegal possession of loose firearms.
“These were the current Command’s priority concern and most sought by our people, as this will provide sense of relief and a feeling of security and comfort to the community,” he said.
Manzanilla added that the “ladderized concept” of anti-criminality programs of Laguna police in close coordination and strong support of the provincial government was formulated as an anti-criminality strategy to neutralize individual and organized crime groups.
Such concept, he said, is in support and as part of the CPNP’s enhanced strategic plan of accounting of all warrants of arrest issued by our courts and the aggressive arrest of these wanted personalities.
These are covered by LOI Manhunt Charlie and implemented through our Implan Angry Bird 2.
