Agusan bike collision kills 1, injures 2

ONE person was killed and two others were injured following a collision between two motorcycles on Sunday in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte province, police reports said on Tuesday.


Reports reaching the Philippine National Police operations center in Camp Crame identified the persons involved in the collision as Noel Jamili, 40, of Cabadbaran Ctiy; Christopher Langbid, 36 and Randy Ano-os, 42 both from Butuan City.

The reports said that the collision occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, along the National Highway near a public market at Barangay Mabini in Cabadbaran City.

Investigation revealed Jamili was on his motorstar 125 single motorcycle heading towards the village proper and was about to turn left when he was hit by a Suzuki motorcycle driven by Langbid with Ano-os as backrider, reports said.

The reports also said that both motorcycles crashed on the pavement with Jamili dying on the spot, while the two others were brought to the Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital for treatment.

Both motorcycles were brought to the Cabadbaran police for proper disposition, while police are investigating the said incident, the reports said.
