Tiglao leads new exciting reads in ‘The Times’

Rigoberto D. Tiglao, Inquirer columnist, co-founder of the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism and former spokesman of former president and now Rep.Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, will begin to write also for The Manila Times next week.



Other new columnists who will add zest to the oldest newspaper in the Philippines are veteran business writer-editor Emeterio Sd. Perez, business consultant Ben Kritz and history scholar Nicole Elizabeth CoUnjieng.

Tiglao’s first column will come out this Monday. His columns will appear on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. He will also write Sunday think-pieces.

Also starting January 14, veteran business writer-editor and research maven Perez will write in The
Times business section on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. He will also be writing special reports.

Ben Kritz, webmaster and author of GR Business online, who also runs the website http://weatheronneptune.wordpress.com/, will also start a Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday column in The Times.

Ben is a veteran of the automotive industry with over 10 years’ experience in logistics and fixed operations management. He has moonlighted as an occasional news correspondent in the United States and abroad for the past 25 years. Now an independent management consultant, Ben advises a diverse group of clients across Asia in sectors as varied as air transport, auto sales and marketing and small- and medium-enterprise development.

Adding the perspective of the young intellectual to The Times, Nicole Elizabeth del Rosario CoUnjieng will write a column that will appear every Monday starting on January 14.

Nicole began working on her Ph.D. in History at Yale in August 2012. She finished her B.A., Honors in History at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
