At least one oil company will implement price adjustments on Tuesday, following last week’s movement.
In an advisory, Petron announced that the company is set to implement a price cut for Blaze 100,
XCS and Xtra by P0.40 a liter and P0.15 a liter for Pinoy gasoline and regular.
Meanwhile, the company will increase diesel products by P.25 a liter and P0.40 a liter for kerosene.
Other companies had yet to announce their respective price adjustments as of press time.
On the first week of January, local players imposed almost a similar movement, decreasing prices of diesel and kerosene by P0.15 a liter but increasing the price of premium gasoline by P0.15 a liter.
During the last week of December 2012, oil companies raised prices of premium and unleaded gasoline by P0.75 a liter, regular gasoline by P0.65 a liter, diesel by P0.20 a liter and kerosene by P0.30 a liter.
