Under Proclamation No. 244, President Benigno Aquino 3rd declared September 12, Monday, as special non-working holiday for Lipa City as they are to hold the 8th National Pilgrimage for Peace and Prayer for the Sanctification of the Clergy. Proclamation No. 244 was signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. on August 25 for the people of Lipa to participate in the event.
