University of Perpetual Help finished the year with a bang in the seniors and women’s divisions of NCAA volleyball as they defeated Letran on Thursday at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Altas made short work of their rival in last year’s finals, winning in three sets, 25-12, 25-21, 25-19.
Meanwhile, their male counterparts needed five sets to dispose the Knights, 25-19, 22-25, 25-14, 20-25, 15-11.
Both squads have five wins to show in the ongoing competition.
Volleyball action resumes on January 7 next year, while other events would also commence that month.
Football starts on January 12, lawn tennis two days later and soft tennis on January 18.
Tae kwon do and badminton will be played in February, while cheerleading and athletics would wrap up the season.
