MAJORITY of boxing fans worldwide want to see a fifth fight between former pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez this year according to a survey conducted by RingTV.com.
The poll question, “What fight would you most like to see made in 2013?” got more than 20,000 votes (29.9 percent of votes) favoring a fifth encounter between Pacquiao and Marquez. The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Sergio Marti-nez (23.4 percent) match-up comes next followed by Mayweather vs. Saul Alvarez (22.6 percent) then Nonito Donaire Jr. vs. Abner Mares (13.7 percent).
Marquez knocked out Pacquiao in the sixth round of their fourth bout in December last year.
The two fighters might clash anew in September if Pacquiao wins a planned tune-up fight in April.
