The third St. Therese Pilgrim Relics Visit to the Philippines National Organizing Committee invites everyone to attend a Holy Mass and Veneration in celebration of the 140th birthday of St.
Thérèse of the Child Jesus at 12 noon on January 2, 2013 at the Shrine of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus in Newport Boulevard, Villamor, Pasay City.
The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Giuseppe Pinto will celebrate mass.
Members of the Carmelite community, Armed Forces of the Philippines and devotees will also be in attendance. This momentous event shall take place in the presence of the miraculous pilgrim relics of St. Thérèse from Lisieux, Paris, France. Veneration of the Relics at the Shrine will be until January 3, 2013.
“Let us begin the New Year by giving thanks to God for the guidance and prayers of His faithful servant, St. Thérèse, as she visits the Philippines until April of this year” says Mavie Ungco of the national organizing committee.
All attendees who are named after St. Therese of the Child Jesus will receive a gift and special blessing after the Holy Mass. Veneration of the Pilgrim relics will follow until 10 p.m.
