“Photography with a Difference”, together with the SM Cares Program on Persons with Disabilities (PWD) treated young photographers to an afternoon of fun and leisure at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA).
Volunteer photographers from the Canon A-Team led by ace photographer John Chua, with team leader Sarita Safra conducted photography workshops for five children with visual impairments. The photographs from this workshop will be exhibited in various SM Supermalls soon.
A recognition day capped the month-long workshop, wherein the visually impaired children, together with their families and photographer mentors had a series of fun day activities at SM. The group also enjoyed the MOA Eye and the tour of the Nido Science Discovery Center.
These activities also showed that the entertainment facilities of SM Mall of Asia are friendly to Persons with Disabilities.
The “Photography Beyond Sight” is a project of Canon Advocacy Team in cooperation with SM Cares Program on Disability Affairs.
