Historical romance unfolds in ‘The Princess’s Man’

Beginning tomorrow audience will witness another historical romance as GMA Network brings to primetime TV the newest Asianovela, The Princess’s Man.

The Princess’s Man features the love story of Prince Su Yuang’s daughter, Se-Ryung, portrayed by Moon Chae Won, and his opponent Kim Jeong Seo’s son, Seung Yoo, played by Park Shi Hoo.

Lee Se-Ryung is the bright, sweet and eldest daughter of Prince Suyang. She meets the carefree teacher Kim Seung Yoo of the Royal Academy in a tutoring session. Soon, they fall deeply in love with each other but their romance will be put to the ultimate test when Seung Yoo learns that Se-Ryung is not the real princess, but rather the daughter of the man who kills his father and brother and devastates his family.

Complicating further their relationship is when Prince Suyang promises Se-Ryung’s hand in marriage to Shin Myeon, represented by Song Jong-ho, Kim Seung Yoo’s best friend. Despite Se-Ryung rejecting Shin Myeon’s advances, his obsession with her grows and he is even willing to pay any price Su Yang requires of him.

As Se-Ryung learns more about her father’s cruel grasp for power, she battles her loyalty to her family versus the love she bears for Seung Yoo. Se-Ryung will also face her cousin’s, Princess Kyung Hye portrayed by Hong Soo Hyun, revenge.

Can Seung Yoo turn his back on the fight for revenge against Se Ryung’s father? Can Shin Myeon win Lee Se-Ryung’s heart? How much can Shin Myeon sacrifice for his love for Se-Ryung?
