Robinsons’ Malls open for donations to ‘Pablo’ victims

A few weeks before Christmas, several provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao were struck by Typhoon Pablo (International name: Bopha) and there are more than a million Filipino families affected and in need of assistance.


To help the victims of the calamity, Robinsons Malls, through its “Let Hope Float” project encourages the public to to help the displaced families in the south. Participating malls are now accepting donations in the form of food (rice, noodles, canned goods, sugar, iodized salt, monggo beans), potable water and medicines (paracetamol, antibiotics, analgesic, oral rehydration salts, multivitamins and medications to treat diarrhea), and non-food items (woven mats, children’s clothing, blankets, plastic sheets, flashlights and batteries).

Donations may be dropped off at the information booth of the following malls: Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Nova Market, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Place Cainta, Robinsons Place Palawan, Robinsons Cybergate Bacolod, Robinsons Fuente, Robinsons Cybergate Cebu, Robinsons Cagayan de Oro, Robinsons Cybergate Davao and Robinsons Place GenSan.

Certified personnel will be on-hand to receive and list down all donations with an acknowledgement receipt. Donations are accepted from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until December 21.
