Indian kidnapped in davao

DAVAO CITY: An Indian went missing here on Tuesday morning and authorities are eyeing a case of kidnapping. Senior Insp. Milgrace Driz, spokesperson of Davao City Police Office, said Jaspar Sing Malih was past seen around 9:30 am yesterday at Barangay Ula, Tugbok District. Malih is currently residing in Barangay Catalunan Pequeño. Driz said some witnesses saw Malih riding his motorcycle and being flagged down by a number of men who forced him into a black vehicle. “We believe that he has been abducted,” she said in a television interview. Police said the Indian national could no longer be contacted through his mobile phone after the incident. Quoting the Indian’s wife, police investigators said Malih recently figured in a fight with an unidentified person, and that is believed to be a factor in his disappearance. “All angles are being looked at,” Driz said.
