Indian money lender robbed by two men in Camarines Sur – police


A YOUNG Indian businessman was robbed of his cash collections by two unidentified gunmen late Monday afternoon in a remote village in Calabanga town, Naga City, police reports said on Wednesday

Reports at the Philippine National Police National Operations Center in Camp Crame identified the young victim as Gurmukh Brar, 20, a moneylender and a resident of IV St., Barangay Dayangdang, Naga City in Camarines Sur Province.

Reports said that Brar was on his way home after collecting payments from his clients when two unidentified, armed-men block his path in Barangay Paolbo, Calabanga town.

Police said that the suspects took Brar’s money amounting to P7,000 and his mobile phone before escaping towards unknown direction.

The reports said that police are now investigating the said incident for the possible identification and arrests of the gunmen. ANTHONY VARGAS
