JAKARTA: Indonesia’s economy grew at its slowest pace for six years in 2015, data showed on Friday, as it was hit by plunging commodity prices and falling exports to key markets including China.

Southeast Asia’s largest economy grew 4.79 percent last year, the first time it has fallen below 5 percent since 2009 at the height of the global financial crisis, and well short of the government’s 7 percent target. It grew 5.02 percent in 2014.
