Young Filipinos are becoming more sexually daring as the traditionally powerful Roman Catholic Church loses its influence to the Internet and smart phones, according to a study released on Thursday.
A survey of more than 19,000 Filipinos aged 15 to 24 last year found pre-marital sex was on the rise, with an increasing number of people meeting partners and sharing sexually explicit material online.
