IPC, Nexusguard to put up data scrubbing center

Recognizing the growing need to protect Filipino organizations with web-based businesses from the threat of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, a local firm has partnered with a global expert to enhance the country’s defenses against what is considered to be the world’s most costly cybercrime.

IP Converge Data Services Inc. (IPC), a unit of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT), is launching the Philippines’ first locally hosted data scrubbing center this year to protect local firms from cyber attacks.
