MEMBERS of the notorious “Ipit taxi” robbery hold-up gang struck again on Monday. Police said the first incident took place at about 7 a.m. in Ortigas Avenue victimizing Mikka Laureh Padilla. Padilla told police that she took a taxi and was on her way to work when they were caught in the traffic along Ortigas Avenue. The victim said an unidentified man boarded the taxi, threatened her with a knife and demanded for her belongings. Padilla said the man took her iPhone, wrist watch worth P6,000 and a pair of earrings. Padilla said that the suspect and the driver asked her to alight in the middle of Ortigas Avenue and then sped off.
