GAZA: Four Israeli army tanks shells fired on Thursday at a school, run by the United Nations for Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, killing 16 and wounded dozens of civilians who took refuge to the school, medics and witnesses said.

Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesman of the health ministry in Gaza told reporters that the death toll in the school's attack is expected to grow, adding that "there are so many casualties who are still in critical conditions. It was a real massacre committed against women and children who were in the school."
