ISUZU Phils. Corp. (IPC) announced that Dole Phils. Inc. has complemented its vehicle fleet with the purchase of several Isuzu D-Max pickups.

IPC said the new vehicles, which will be used by Dole Phils. for its various operations in South Cotabato, were turned over in the last quarter of 2013. The eight D-Max LS 4×4 MT pickups were Dole Phils.’ latest acquisition of Isuzu vehicles. IPC bared that in 2013, Dole Phils. had purchased several units each of the Crosswind XT, Crosswind Sportivo and D-Max LS 4×4 Boondock models.

In a ceremony held at Dole Kalsangi, IPC President Nobuo Izumina, Senior Vice President for Sales Arthur Balmadrid, Consultant for Parts and Service Toshiyuki Watanabe, Isuzu General Santos Chief Executive Officer Milton Liu and Sales Manager Rowel Subong handed over the new D-Max trucks to Dole Phils. Vice President and Managing Director Simon Denye, Director of Engineering Services Division Renato Alvarez, Manager of Agri and Industrial Reliability Department Raul Tanggarurang and Superintendent of Agri Division Rogelito Laguna.

“The continued patronage of Dole Phils. speaks volumes on the trust they put over our models,” Izumina said. “That Dole Phils. purchased the all-new D-Max, after previously acquiring Isuzu vehicles, can only mean that they have tested the reputed reliability, durability and fuel efficiency of Isuzu models.”
