    ‘Perfetti Sconosciuti’

    Following the successful past editions of Movie­mov in 2011, 2012, 2014 Manila, this year’s Moviemov 2016 festival will be screened on November 12 to 16 at the Cinematheque Centre Manila.

    This fourth edition of travelling Italian Film Festival Moviemov: Italian Cinema Now in Manila, is organized by Playtown Roma and supported by the General Direction for Cinema of the Italian Ministry of Heritage and Culture, Italian Trade Agency in Rome and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Rome, in collaboration with Embassy of Italy in the Philippines and Film Development Council. Moviemov 2016 Manila is likewise supported by San Miguel Corporation, Gourmet Farms, Rustan’s, Philippine Italian Association, Augustea Ship Manning, Elburg Shipmangement, Rina Academy, Fila, Trevi Foundations, L’Opera, Caruso, Cibo di M, and Ralph’s Wines.



    Moviemov: Italian Cinema Now in Manila which aims to promote and show to Asia especially to the Philippines what contemporary Italian cinema is. The following is the line-up of featured commendable films which all have English subtitles: Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers); Fiore; Veloce come il vento (Italian Race); Vangelo; La ragazza del mondo (Worldly girl); Indivisibili (Indivisible); Piuma; Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot (They call me Jeeg); 2 Night; Un bacio (One kiss).

    Italian actors, scriptwriters, and directors will be gracing the Red Carpet Opening night at the Cinematheque Centre Manila. This is definitely another chance for Philippine film enthusiasts to be brought to an Italian culture along with the ART in Italian Films.

    The event is open to the public for free.
