GMA Network will have viewers swooning at its new light-hearted drama series More Than Words, which premieres tomorrow. Starring real life young couple Janine Gutierrez and Elmo Magalona, the story makes a case for the power of writing one’s own life to find love.
Janine plays a very different role in the story as a girl teased in school because of her unique looks and constant daydreaming. She finds solace in writing fiction online, bringing to life a Katy Perez in her blog, Diary of a Queen Bee.
Unlike Ikay, Katy is a cool, popular girl adored at St. Martin’s University, especially by her boy character, Hiro.
The next morning, Ikay is surprised when she sees a real boy washed ashore who turns out to be Hiro (Elmo) from her blog. Hiro finds himself in an unfamiliar place after figuring in an accident. He loses his memory, starts a new life, and eventually falls for Ikay.
Joining the pair in More than Words is Jaclyn Jose, Gardo Versoza, Yayo Aguila, Enzo Pineda, Stephanie Sol, Mikoy Morales, Mayton Eugenio, and the come-backing ‘80s love team Rey PJ Abellana and Leni Santos.
Under the helm of esteemed director Andoy Ranay, More Than Words is created by the GMA Drama group headed by Lilybeth G. Rasonable, the network’s senior vice president for Entertainment TV.
More Than Words premieres on November 17 on GMA’s Prime Time block.
