SYDNEY: Japan was facing mounting condemnation Tuesday over its decision to resume killing whales in Antarctica, with conservationists saying it was open to another legal challenge.

Australia and New Zealand have led criticism of the resumption of “scientific” whaling, with both expressing disappointment.
