Japan exchange/teaching program now open

The Embassy of Japan is now accepting applications from the Philippines for one Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) position in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan under the 2015 Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.

The responsibilities of the position are as follows: On top of general job duties as Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) stated in the JET program guidelines, the selected candidate for this position is expected to provide support and serve as point of contact for key representatives of the prefecture’s growing Filipino population, facilitate partnership and coordination arrangements between the prefectural government and the Filipino community in the area by performing public relations functions, and identify ways to more effectively address common concerns of Filipino residents in the region by conducting extensive research and data analyses on their current living conditions.
