TOKYO: Japan protested to China on Sunday after Chinese coast guard ships sailed into territorial waters of disputed islands in the East China Sea, Tokyo said.
Four Chinese vessels entered the waters surrounding the islets, called the Senkaku in Japan and the Diaoyu in China, around 10am local time (9 am in Philippines), according to Japan Coast Guard.
