A JAPANESE non-government organization known as Class for Everyone (C4E) recently donated laptops to four elementary schools in Tanauan City, Batangas to launch its digital library project. C4E aims to create equal educational opportunities to children in developing countries through various projects and programs. “One of the programs we are currently undertaking is to provide public elementary schools with pre-owned computer laptops to build digital library facility,” said C4E founder Koji Takahama, who led the distribution of laptops in Trapiche Elementary School, Sambat Elementary School, Tapia Elementary School and Wawa Elementary School. Also present during the turnover ceremony were 15 representatives from Fuji Xerox Japan, the donors of the pre-owned laptops, and C4E Filipino partner Alex Silva.
