Proof that Filipinos continue to patronize Japanese cuisine, two restaurants specializing in different dishes from the Land of the Rising Sun have set up stores in the Philippines.

The famous Genki Sushi of Japan has also arrived in Manila, introducing its own brand of dining. With a “purist modern concept,” Genki Sushi offers the Philippine market its own take on Chirashi Don, Seared Salmon with Black Pepper, Chicken Teriyaki Don, River Eel Rice Bowl, and California Maki among others.
