As he serenaded a sold-out dinner-concert titled A Love to Last a Lifetime, seasoned composer and balladeer Jose Mari Chan made it possible for Outbox Media Production to raise funds toward building new homes for the many Visayans who still remain displaced after Typhoon Yolanda hit the Philippines in November 2013.

With a well-heeled audience that included Tanauan, Leyte Mayor Pel Tecson, the multi-awarded Illongo artist gratefully said, “The proceeds (of the concert) will be used to purchase wood to rebuild the houses of some 500 affected families.”

He also lauded Outbox Media Production Agency’s (OBM) for choosing to celebrate its eighth anniversary towards such a worthwhile cause.

Outbox Media is a full service events management and multimedia production outfit established by a group of enterprising Mass Communication students in 2006. Today, it stands as a trusted and sought-after production agency for creative projects, events management, talents and manpower resources, as well as a provider of marketing and advertising solutions.

“Passion, dedication, diversity. Through the years, these three words continue to sum up what the OBM team is committed to. And this concert is another proof of that—a night of great music, delicious food, and a good cause,” said OBM’s Rossel Taberna who also happens to be the beautiful and talented wife popular broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna.

Also spotted in the audience of 530 music lovers were Rep. Roman Romulo and wife Shalani Soledad, Councilor Alfred Vargas, TV host Gerry Baja, and Philippine Red Cross Secretary General Gwen Pang.
