No less than Don Jaime Zobel de Ayala, Chairman Emeritus of Ayala Corp., and his daughter Sophia Zobel Elizalde, founder and director of Steps Dance Project, unveiled Ayala Malls’ Christmas campaign for 2014.

On Thursday at luncheon at The Peninsula Manila Conservatory, the father and daughter announced that the theme for the year will put the spotlight on people who makes Christmas brighter every year.

Be it mom or dad, girl or boy, and young or old, there will be something for everyone with exciting entertainment and lifestyle offerings, season-long festivities, and stunning holiday décor.

On top of holiday celebrations is the opening of “Christmas Corners” for all holiday checklists. It offers the finest selections of gift ideas and the best-tasting gourmet choices, as well as convenient gift-wrapping stations.

Just like its yearly tradition, the tunnel leading to Greenbelt is once again made special with art of photographer and artist Jaime Zobel de Ayala who sees the magic of Christmas through his artistic lens.

Then, the Ayala Malls’ activity centers will be filled with nostalgic symphonies and spectacular dance and classic hits.

The Steps Dance Project turns to the eternal hits of Frank Sinatra with a song and dance concert aptly titled Frankly Speaking. The musical will feature the celebrities like Piolo Pascual, Xian Lim, Sam Milby and singers George Schulze and JC Santos, alongside Steps’ scholars, students, and alumni. Together, they will share the stage with the talented New York dancer, musician and entertainer Omar Edwards, who is this year’s special guest. There will also be a special participation of Mel Villena and his AMP Band

Directed by James Laforteza, and choreographed by Jeffrey Espejo, Jun Saagundo and Xernan Alfonso, Frankly Speaking is currently running in various Ayala Malls. Catch it on November 15 and 16 at in Alabang Town Center, on November 22 and 23 at TriNoma, November 29 and 30 at Fairview Terraces, on December 6 and 7 at Ayala Center Cebu, and on December 13 and 14 at Market! Market!.

Ayala Malls will also make Christmas celebration meaningful for everyone by giving back. For every P5 donation to any of the two chosen charities by the Ayala Malls, a customer gets a shopping bag absolutely free. These donations shall also serve as your access pass to all of Ayala Malls’ Christmas chorale performances.

So, this Christmas, come back to the things that are most special to you. Be it the exciting memories you build with your family, or that relaxing me-time amidst the Christmas rush.
