Headline inflation more than doubled its pace to 1.9 percent in July from a year earlier, although it remained unchanged from June, with higher prices of alcoholic beverages and non-food items offsetting moderated food and energy prices, data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Friday showed.
The comparative rate in July 2015 stood at 0.8 percent.
