The two teams have improved their records to two wins and a loss for six points.

After losing to Stallion FC by a narrow margin in their last outing, Kaya FC bounced back with a resounding 10-2 victory over Forza FC, on Robert Lopez Mendy’s four goal performance.

In the other match, Patrick Reichelt’s early hat-trick powered Ceres La Salle FC over the Agila MSA FC, 10-1.

The UFL will be on a two-week break to allow selected teams to compete in overseas games. Ceres La Salle FC and Global FC are scheduled to fly to Singapore to compete in the qualifying round of this year’s RHB Singapore Cup.

Global FC will be facing last year’s Cambodian league’s runner up Nagaworld FC on May 28 at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Ceres La Salle FC will be playing against Singapore League’s ninth placers Garena Young Lions FC also at the Jalan Besar Stadium on May 29.

Both clubs are aiming to clinch one of the four remaining seats in the quarterfinals of the football meet.

Ceres, which is also one of the country’s representatives to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup, will be playing in the competition for the first time.

On the other hand, Global FC has been a regular in international tournament since the 2013 edition of the Singapore Cup.
