Kaya FC drubbed fellow first division club Pachanga Diliman FC, 3-0, for their last game in Group B in the elimination round of the United Football League Cup 2015 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium on Sunday.
Kaya ended their trip to the annual cup’s group stage with a pristine 4-0 record after conquering their rivals in the battle of unbeaten clubs in their group.
After just five minutes of action, the men of Kaya instantly took control of the match-up with an opening goal courtesy of Kittitian striker Tishan Hanley.
The waxing hot offense of the high caliber team continued as another goal was added to their lead as Louis Clark found the back of the net in the 10th minute.
Pachanga tried to spark retaliation for their side led by Jinggoy Valmayor, fresh off the U23 Azkals training camp in Australia, but their squeaky attacks proved to be too weak for the stifling defense of their foes.
Kaya finished strong during their match as substitute Diego Barrera, who came in for Masanari Omura in the 80th minute, struck the final goal off a pass from Christian Ayew to cap off his team’s three-goal outing.
