Stamping its class against nine other clubs, Kaya FC dominated three of the four age groups of the Youth Football League (YFL) finals over the weekend.
Kaya beat Global FC, 4-2, to win the Cup Championship in the Under-17 (U17) division at the McKinley Hill Stadium in Taguig City.
Earlier, Kaya blanked JP Voltes FC, 3-0, in Under-9 (U9) and beat Ceres Negros Youth FC A, 3-1, in Under-7 (U7) at the Alabang Country Club Multi-purpose Field in Muntinlupa City.
MSA Agila FC emerged as the other Cup champion after pulling off a 1-0 thrashing of Kaya in the Under-13 (U13) category at the Alabang Country Club as well.
Meanwhile, Loyola Meralco FC snagged two Plate championships while Socceroo FC and Ceres Negros bagged the other two in the lower competition.
The Sparks shocked Forza FC with an 11-3 domination in U17 and tripped JP Voltes, 1-0, in U7.
Socceroo stunned Forza, 1-0, in U13 while Ceres toppled Stallion Laguna FC, 2-0, in U9.
Action continues in the debut season of YFL in order to determine the Cup and Plate winners in the Under-19, Under-15 and Under-11 divisions.
