BULACAN: A Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) Party mayoralty candidate and three others running for councilor in Pandi town are facing charges of perjury and use of falsified documents for presenting allegedly forged certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) in filing their candidacy before the local Commission on Elections (Comelec) office last month.
Respondents to perjury and falsification complaint before the Bulacan Provincial Prosecutors Office are Basilio De Mesa, who is running for mayor and three others for councilor: Josefina Antonio of Barangay Bagong Barrio; Vicente Fernandez of Barangay Poblacion; and Danilo Granel of Barangay San Roque.
