• Kelly suffers another heartbreaking loss


    Mongolian Naratungalag Jadambaa needed only 44 seconds to dispose Filipino mixed martial arts fighter Eric “The Natural” Kelly in ONE: Dynasty of Champions on Saturday at the Hefei Olympic Sports Center in Hefei, China.

    The former ONE featherweight world champion Jadambaa knocked out Kelly with his explosive right hand followed with relentless strikes that prompted the referee to stop the fight with less than a minute in the first round.

    It was another heart breaking defeat for Kelly who lost to Ev Ting in January via guillotine choke. Kelly’s win-loss record fell to 12-3 while Jadambaa’s improved to 12-4.

    In other matches, Bu Huo You earned a unanimous decision win over Li Hao Jie while Li Kai Wen subdued Keanu Subba also via unanimous decision after three rounds.

    In the highly anticipated middleweight contest, the “Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang won via triangle choke submission against Aleksei Butorin at the 1:57 mark of the second round.

    BantamweightWu Ze won by technical knockout against Zheng Xiao Liang at 4:49 minutes of the first round.

    Lightweight contender Ariel Sexton overpowered Roger Huerta by verbal submission in the third round.

    In the flyweight matches, Ann Osman beat Haiat Farag via armbar in the first round while Tang Ren Xing defeated Zhang You Liang by submission using a triangle armbar at 4:42 minutes of the first round. Bu Huo You Ga won via guillotine choke versus Wan Jian Ping at 1:24 of the second round while Li Hao Jie earned a unanimous decision win against Maimai Tituo Heti.
