ZAMBOANGA CITY: Militant group Abu Sayyaf on Wednesday freed a female trader in Sulu after three months of captivity. Police said 33-year-old Sugar Diane Buenviaje was released in Jolo where her sister was waiting and they took a plane bound for Zamboanga City. It was unknown how much ransom her family paid. Abu Sayyaf seized Buenviaje in February in Mapun, Tawi-Tawi where her family owns Cagayan Enterprises and General Merchandise. Police tagged the group of Alhabsi Misaya as behind the kidnapping.
