A CHINESE-Filipino businesswoman who was abducted in Sulu province last month was released by her captors on Wednesday night, the military reported on Thursday. The Joint Task Group (JTG) Sulu said Dim Kim Yap, was freed at around 8 p.m. at the vicinity of Jolo Wharf, Port Area in Jolo, Sulu. She immediately boarded a commercial vessel bound for Zamboanga City. She was accompanied by her husband, the task group said. It was not reported if ransom was paid for her release. Yap, a Tausug Chinese businesswoman was abducted by six suspected members of the Abu Sayyaf Group inside her house in Barangay Chinese Pier, Jolo on February 15.
