Top seed Tom Kim and No. 2 Ira Alido fashioned out victories in emphatic fashions to roll into the quarterfinal round of the 2016 Philippine Junior Amateur Match Play Golf Championship at the Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa on Thursday.
Kim, who dominated the 36-hole stroke play elims, overpowered Nathan Kawpeng, 7&6, to arrange a Last 8 duel with No. 9 Peter Tyler Po, who scored two wins in the day, including a 3&1 romp over Jaime Oposa and a 3&2 triumph over Dan Emilio Cruz.
