• Klitschko-Fury rematch set for June date

BERLIN: Wladimir Klitschko’s management has confirmed there are negotiations to hold his world heavyweight rematch against Britain’s Tyson Fury in Austria with a date of June 4 still to be confirmed. Hamburg-based Klitschko lost his WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO belts to Britain’s Fury on points in Duesseldorf last November as the Ukrainian suffered his first defeat in more than a decade. Klitschko’s management say Klagenfurt’s Woerthersee Stadium, a 32,000-capacity venue which hosted European championship football matches in 2008, is the most likely option to stage the bout.
