As January 30, the wedding date of Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna, nears, the soon-to-be Mrs. Sotto has shared to the public their entourage through entertainment website pep.ph.
Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto 3rd and Carmencita Garcia, Tony Tuviera and wife Madeleine Tuviera, and Joey de Leon and Salvacion Gatchalian are the principal sponsors.
Luna’s Eat Bulaga co-host Ruby Rodriguez will be her Matron of Honor while her non-showbiz best friend Franchesca Que will be her maid of honor.
Among her bridesmaids are Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach—who has confirmed her attendance—Anne Margaret Luna, Leah Camille Agcaoili, and Mara Isabel Sotto.
Vic Sotto’s best man is Vico Sotto, his son to actress Coney Reyes while his groomsmen include brothers Val and Maru Sotto and Eat Bulaga co-hosts Anjo Yllana, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Paolo Ballesteros.
Secondary sponsors consist of couples Danica Sotto and Marc Pingris for veil; Oyo Sotto and Kristine Hermosa for cord; and Paulina Sotto and Miguel Mario Luna for candles.
Danica and Oyo are Vic’s children to actress Dina Bonnevie.
The couple’s ring bearer is Danica and Marc’s son Jean Michel Pingris while Oyo and Kristine’s son Kristian Daniel Sotto is coin bearer. The bible bearer is Alessandro Jose Sotto with Marciano Dominico Antonio as the rosary bearer.
Not be left out are the couple’s flower girls including Ryzza Mae Dizon, Danica’s daughter Anielle Micaela Pingris and Oyo’s daughter Ondrea Bliss Sotto.
Over at her Instagram with a million followers, Luna also posted photos of her recent and intimate bridal shower. Her guests included some of her closest friends in show business namely Camille Prats, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Yayo Aguila, and Ruby Rodriguez. This was followed closely by another photo, but this time around, Sotto’s very own bachelor party.
Very generous to her followers indeed, the actress and host has also shared a sneak peak of her invitation, as well as announced that her wedding gown will be by Francis Libiran.
Unfortunately, Luna’s excitement was spoiled when ABS-CBN reported their wedding date and venue. The celebrity couple originally planned to announce the much-awaited details in their noontime show Eat Bulaga.
In her Facebook post, which was later taken down, Luna sarcastically wrote, “Dearest ABS-CBN, thank you so much for revealing all the details about our wedding. Thank you so much for mentioning even the date and the venue. Thank you because now we’re finally going to achieve the exclusivity that we want! And last but not the least, thank you so much for asking if it’s okay to report about it. God Bless!”
The couple’s engagement was confirmed in September of last year, four years after they began dating.
